The name of our gallery is Yi Paintings. "Yi" means spirit in Chinese. Chinese artists use their imaginations to paint expressive interpretations of nature, staying true to the Taoist philosophy of achieving harmony with nature.

The founder of Yi Paintings was born and raised in China who started to learn Chinese painting when he was 5 years old. He found it was difficult to buy a nice Chinese painting in US. It is such a pity for Chinese painting lovers who live abroad. Thus, he decided to start “Yi Paintings” to share the Asian art and spirit.
